Preparation for the study

General

The test should not be performed in exacerbation of heart failure, hypervolemia,urinary tract infections,after significant physical exertion.
Morning urine for ACR indicator study - how to collect the material for the study.
For the study, the middle stream of morning urine should be collected (after the first stream to the toilet), i.e. after at least 8 hours of night rest, without emptying the bladder for at least
for 4 hours. Urine should be collected in a disposable container(not less than 10 ml).
The container with the sample should be signed.
The patient does not need to be fasting.

Description

The ACR index is used to assess albuminuria. The primary recommended use of the albuminuria test is in the diagnosis of diabetic nephropathy, including detection of its early stage. The test is also useful in diagnosing the early stage of chronic kidney disease,and in cardiovascular disease.
