Preparation for the examination
General
- Collection instructions:
1. Sign the envelope containing the microscope slide with your name and surname or label it with an identification code.
2. Peel the transparent adhesive tape off the slide.
3. Place the non-adhesive side of the adhesive tape on your index finger.
4. Spread your buttocks apart and touch the sticky side of the adhesive to the anal folds (do not insert it into the anus).
5. Then re-apply the adhesive to the microscope slide, being careful not to create air bubbles.
6. Place the collected sample in the envelope, seal the envelope, and deliver it to the laboratory as soon as possible. - The test material consists of a swab from the anus.
The swab collection kit should be collected at the collection point.
The anus area should not be washed before collecting the sample.
The sample should be collected in the morning, preferably immediately after waking up.
