- The exact route of the journey,
- Date and nature of the trip (vacation, work, research),
- Planned elements of active tourism (mountain hiking, diving, cave exploration, animal hunting),
- Age of the traveler (this applies especially to children),
- Recent illnesses and possible chronic conditions,
- A list of medications taken on a regular basis,
- Previous vaccinations (take your vaccination booklet),
- Antimalarial drugs used in the past,
- Allergies to medications, egg whites (a component of many vaccines) or other substances,
- Pregnancy or planned breastfeeding while traveling,
- Immune disorders in travelers – related to chronic diseases or the use of medications,
