Night and holiday travel health care >>

Night and holiday healthcare operates under principles similar to those of primary healthcare. Under this form of care, you can receive medical assistance from an on-call doctor who will provide consultations:

  • in an outpatient setting,
  • by phone,
  • and at your place of residence or stay, if medically necessary.

Additionally, the nurse will provide the necessary medical services:

  • also in outpatient settings,
  • and in medically justified cases – directly at the patient's place of residence or stay.

In what situations can you see a doctor (nurse) for night and holiday health care?

  • In the event of a sudden illness or deterioration of health that does not pose a direct threat to life.
  • When there is a serious deterioration in health and home treatments or over-the-counter medications do not bring the expected improvement.
  • If you delay your visit until the primary care clinic is open, it may negatively impact your health.
  • In case of worsening symptoms of a chronic disease.
  • For respiratory infections that occur with high fever.
  • In the case of abdominal pain that does not subside despite the use of antispasmodic drugs.
  • If your headaches persist despite taking painkillers.
  • If diarrhea or vomiting occurs, especially in children or the elderly.
