What does a visit to a preluxation clinic look like?

A visit to the preluxation clinic begins with a specialist taking a detailed interview with the child's parents. The doctor will perform a basic orthopedic examination, checking the range of motion and stability of the child's hip joints, and will also perform an ultrasound of the hips.

The first visit to the pre-luxation clinic should be made between the 2nd week and the 8th month of the child's life.

You can bring the results of previous tests to the pre-luxation clinic if the child's parents have them.
