If you experience any alarming symptoms, a nodule appears, or have a genetic predisposition (cancer in your immediate family), you can schedule an oncology consultation. The oncologist can order comprehensive testing for precancerous prevention.
The oncology clinic provides access to specialized tests such as:
- laboratory tests, including tumor markers,
- Ultrasound of individual organs,
- mammography,
- endoscopic examinations,
- X-ray.
Depending on the needs, the oncologist may also order other tests: computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging.
