Pneumococci
To get vaccinated, book an appointment for a medical qualification.
The qualification is valid for 24 hours from the date it is issued.

Pneumococcal polysaccharide conjugate vaccine (13-valent, adsorbed).
- Indications for use:
The vaccine is administered to individuals aged 6 weeks and older to protect against the following diseases: meningitis, sepsis or bacteremia, pneumonia, and ear infections caused by 13 types of Streptococcus pneumoniae bacteria. It works by stimulating the body to produce specific antibodies against these bacteria, which protects against these diseases. - Age recommendations:
Children from 6 weeks of age. - Vaccination cycle:
1) Infants from 6 weeks to 6 months of age – 3 doses and a booster dose.
There should be an interval of at least 1 month between the 1st, 2nd and 3rd doses, the 4th booster dose should be administered between 11 and 15 months of age.
2) Children who have not been previously vaccinated and children over 7 months of age:
– Infants aged 7-11 months – 2 doses at least 1 month apart, 3rd dose in the second year of life,
– Children aged 12-23 months – 2 doses at least 2 months apart,
– Children aged 2-5 years – 1 dose.
3) Adults – one dose.Qualification required before each dose.

- Indications for use:
Active immunization of individuals 6 weeks of age and older to prevent invasive disease and pneumonia caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae bacteria. - Age recommendations:
For ages 6 weeks and older. - Vaccination cycle:
– infants and children from 6 weeks to 15 months of age – 4 doses,
– children from 15 months to 18 years of age – the schedule and number of doses are determined individually by the physician, based on the Summary of Product Characteristics and health history,
– individuals from 18 years of age – 1 dose.
