An oral vaccine containing live, attenuated human rotavirus that helps protect your child from 6 weeks of age against gastroenteritis (diarrhea and vomiting) caused by rotavirus infection.

  • Indications for use:
    Rotavirus infection is the most common cause of severe diarrhea in infants and young children. Rotavirus is easily spread by hand-to-mouth contact with the feces of an infected person. In some children, the disease is severe, with severe vomiting, diarrhea, and life-threatening fluid loss, requiring hospitalization.
  • Age recommendations:
    From 6 weeks of age.
  • Vaccination schedule:
    Infants from 6 weeks of age – 2 doses at least 4 weeks apart. Completion of the 2-dose vaccination schedule should be completed by 16 weeks of age.
