Description of the study
Treatment of anal fissure with botulinum toxin injection involves injecting a preparation of botulinum toxin on both sides of the fissure into the muscle - the internal sphincter. This lowers the tension of the internal anal sphincter muscle and improves its local blood supply, resulting in the healing of the anal fissure. Such treatment can be used as the first method used to heal an anal fissure, as well as the method chosen as a second choice when local drug treatment in the form of suppositories and ointments is ineffective. The maximum effect of botulinum toxin is obtained on the 7th-14th day after the procedure. The effect lasts for about 2-3 months.

Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to botulinum toxin preparations,
- inflammatory and purulent lesions in the anal canal,
- The coexistence of a perianal fistula,
- anal scarring lesions.
Caution should be exercised in patients:
- With peripheral motor neuropathies (such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or motor neuropathy),
- with subclinical or clinical signs of neuromuscular conduction abnormalities (such as myasthenia gravis or LambertEaton syndrome),
- Those taking antibiotics from the aminoglycoside group,
- relatively patients taking oral antidiabetic drugs.
