Description of the study

Platelet-rich plasma is an autologous concentrate of platelets in a small volume (obtained from the patient's own blood, thus minimizing the risk of an allergic reaction).
Platelets release growth factors responsible for the healing process, primarily PDGF, TGF-β1, TGF-β2, VEGF, and EGF.
The procedure involves collecting the patient's peripheral blood, processing it using a special kit to separate and concentrate the platelets, and injecting them into the treatment area.
The effects of the therapy begin to be felt after a few days to approximately four weeks, depending on the severity of the condition.
