Who should especially think about research?

Women are at increased risk if they:

• have a family history of cancer (especially in more than one person),
• have relatives who developed breast or ovarian cancer before the age of 60,
• observe the occurrence of various cancers in one family member,
• have a family history of hereditary cancer, especially breast and ovarian cancer. Early detection of changes significantly increases the chances of effective treatment.
