A whirlpool bath is primarily intended to massage the upper and lower limbs using a stream of water enriched with a regulated amount of air, delivered through special massage nozzles located underwater. The bath temperature and the mechanical action of the water jet cause relative muscle overheating, relaxing, unwinding, and regenerating.
Application of whirlpool massage:
- Treatment of post-traumatic, inflammatory and degenerative conditions within the nervous system,
- Exhaustion of the neuromuscular system of the lower and upper limbs,
- Regeneration after excessive physical exertion.
A referral is required for massage.
