The task of the pediatric ophthalmologist is to treat such eye defects and diseases such as conjunctivitis, dry eye syndrome, strabismus, astigmatism, myopia, etc.
The pediatric ophthalmology outpatient clinic also provides access to specialized tests, such as:
- computerized eye examination,
- color vision study,
- eye pressure test.
If necessary, the pediatric ophthalmologist may also order other tests: optical tomography (OCT), fundus examination, laboratory tests.
