Sandblasting
This device, which combines an ultrasonic scaler and air polisher, allows for safe subgingival procedures. The illuminated handpiece significantly improves visibility of the treatment area, thus increasing the precision and thoroughness of cleaning. The device has an external water reservoir, which can be filled with antiseptic fluids and rinsed gingival pockets without the need for other medications. An additional advantage of the device is the availability of various types of air polishing powders, allowing for customization to individual patient needs.
