Objective:

  • gaining muscle strength
  • improving muscle endurance
  • minimizing muscle atrophy resulting from immobilization or pathological processes
  • delaying the occurrence of muscle atrophy
  • obtaining compensatory strength gains
  • improving neuromuscular coordination

Indications:

  • weakening of muscle strength
  • immobilization conditions (e.g. plaster cast)

Contraindications:

  • acute inflammation of the joints
  • inflammation of periarticular tissues
  • inflammation of the veins
  • temperature above 38°
  • fractures, post-traumatic conditions
  • conditions after dislocation
  • disturbed continuity of the skin and soft tissues
  • occurrence of pain during exercise
  • conditions after surgery before removing the stitches (consultation with a doctor)
  • diastolic blood pressure above 100 and systolic blood pressure above 160 (measured at rest)
  • the general serious condition of the patient
  • condition after computed tomography with contrast
  • condition after lumbar puncture (e.g. collection of cerebrospinal fluid)

A referral is required for exercises.
