Rehabilitation after COVID-19

In recovering from Covid-19 outbreak is helped by professional medical rehabilitation, the importance of which in eliminating complications is also emphasized by the World Health Organization.

All the consequences of Covid-19 outbreak are not yet known, so we will gather as much information about your condition as possible before you start treatment. Proper selection of treatments requires a very individual and multi-specialist approach to the patient. We start with a consultation with a physiotherapy specialist, at which the following is carried out: history, examination and simple capacity tests. Based on the data collected, the physiotherapist will determine with you what the main problem is, determine the number and frequency of treatments. The consultation is also aimed at catching possible contraindications to physiotherapy so that the rehabilitation will proceed safely for the patient.

Meetings with physiotherapists last 60 minutes each. During these visits, specialists use various techniques from selected physiotherapy methods, which are designed to focus on a predetermined problem.

To achieve this, we use the following treatments:

  • Manual therapy - "mobilization" of the ribs, chest, respiratory muscles, spine,
  • PNF - work on breathing patterns: upper and lower, activation of weakened breathing tracks ,
  • therapeutic massage,
  • general fitness exercises,
  • breathing exercises,
  • aerobic training.

After a series of treatments, you will meet with a physiotherapist for a final consultation to re-evaluate your functional status and make final recommendations or continuing physiotherapy.
